I went to Subway and the teenager behind the counter asked how my day was going. I told her I was keeping a close eye on the Haiti situation. She asked: "What's that?" I explained to her what the Haiti situation is......a devastating earthquake that leveled the country. I asked if her teachers had discussed the situation, she said they had not. She said their TV One (educational station) was down at the school. I guess TV One is how teachers are getting their information as well, even though Haiti has been all over the news since Tuesday. No wonder children in American schools are academically challenged.
I am a writer: movies, books, songs, poetry....whatever. I took a year off to write myself silly. I bought a 5th wheel and moved to the desert. I am the writer of the novel, Sometimes I Forget To Breathe. I am currently working on 3 screenplays, but really focused on revising one in particular: Sooty In The Field. This is my journal to somewhere. Email me at: freshscreenplays@gmail.com
