My very first blog entry disappeared on me. Great beginning.
I was saying, I haven't worked on Sooty In The Field in several days. As with most writers, I am stuck in revision mode. I have finally settled on a 1974 setting, with a 1959 flashback.
As with most self-proclaimed screenwriters (there are 36K in Los Angeles alone) who are tired of seeing old movies regurgitated, I believe I have something worth looking into. But my belief is not overshadowed by arrogance, as I realize it's not a unique belief at all.
On January 5th, I wrote several people hoping they want to read the first 15-20 pages. Those people include Peter Gordon, Tyler Perry, Queen Latifah, Benny Madina and a few more. What are my expectations? I have none.
