Supposedly to test my electrical meter. I swear, he reminded me of Ernest T of the Andy Griffith Show. I don't hold that against him. Afterall, I am in the country-desert. We have one sheriff.....(no, it's not Andy). I don't know what his name is, because I have never had to call him.
Anyway, he went through this jibber-jabber about the meter being new. I told him I was going to call an outside electrician, and his story changed. He went back to look at the meter and said: "Yeap. You right. The meter ain't been tested since 2004."
He said he would change the meter. It's raining cats and dogs out here, so I told him it wouldn't be a good idea to work with electricity in the rain. He said: "Yeap. You right. I don't wanna get fried. Zzzzzzzzz."
Go figure.
